Over the years, Build-A-Bear Workshop has recalled several products for safety concerns.
Recalled Bears
This is not a definitive list.

The Colorful Hearts Bear. The fabric around its eyes was prone to ripping and causing the eyes to come loose, thus creating a choking hazard.

The Sully. The eyes were prone to coming loose, thus creating a choking hazard.

The Starbrights Dragon. The satin middle seam of the plush was weak, thus creating a choking hazard.

The 2019 Toothless. The seams were not properly secured, sometimes revealing white stuffing, thus some of these plushes were recalled for being below quality standards.
