The Capybara released in 2024. It first appeared in stores in December 2023; after selling out it was not restocked in stores and instead released on the US and UK webstores as an online exclusive, before finally coming to stores in April 2024.

- The Capybara was apparently market tested before being greenlit for a full release; it appeared in limited locations in California starting on December 29, 2023,[8] before being added to the US and UK sites on January 4, 2024 (showing as unavailable, with a sign-up option to be notified about its release).[9]
- Though the Capybara was originally priced at $25.50 during its brief in-store appearance[8] and when it was initially placed on the BAB US webstore,[5] its price was discovered in late January 2024 to have been increased online to $28 (USD).[10][11] Likewise, its price on the UK webstore increased from £22 (GBP)[7] to £22.50 (GBP).[12]
