This is a list of all known full-sized furry friends released in 1997.
There were approximately 24 furry friends released this year. Furry friends released this year ranged in price from $10 (Lil' Cub Chocolate, Lil' Cub Taffy, Lil' Cub Butterscotch) and $40 (Buddy Bear), and retired between 1998 (Lil' Bunny, Mink-Look Bear, Shaggy Bear) and 2004 (Floppy Bear).
With the exception of Lil' Cub, all furry friends released this year would have been available at the beary first store, the Saint Louis Galleria location, from October 26, 1997, the day it opened.[1]
