Scentiments (stylized as SCENTiments, a play on the word "sentiments", also known as "scents") are small plastic discs that are infused with pleasant fragrances. They are one of three types of stuffer that can be inserted into a furry friend at the Stuff Me station before being sewn up. Scentiments are either shaped like hearts or bear heads.


The first set of Scentiments launched in summer 2012.[1] They were originally meant to be placed in a furry friend's paw, as shown in their original webstore descriptions, but today it is common for them to be placed in the torso instead, and many fans will request a torso or back of head placement so the Scentiment can be easily smelled while hugging the bear.


Scentiment discs are heat activated, which means it can take some time for them to become smellable through a bear's fur, depending on the strength of the scent and the density of the bear's fur. Bear builders will often try to mitigate this by rubbing the disc on the outside of the bear before placing it inside, but this can sometimes have the unintended side effect of staining the fur or leaving a colored residue, especially on lighter colored bears. Some scents are more prone to causing this than others. Scents have variable lifespans, with some lasting 10 years or more and others seeming to fade almost immediately upon insertion, depending on the individual scent and how much it is activated by hugs and cuddles over the years.


Scents can only be placed in full-sized or giant-sized furry friends. Some pre-stuffed online exclusives cannot have scents put in them at the time of purchasing, but can have scents added later at home or in store. Scentiments cannot be purchased outside of a furry friend on most webstores or in-store in the UK, but can be purchased on their own in US stores.

Bubblegum 18957[3] 2012 Available Noted to smell just like Hubba Bubba bubblegum. The disc is bear head shaped and was originally transparent bubblegum pink, but it was later redesigned to be opaque. Bubblegum was released as part of the first wave of Scentiments,[1] and has been part of the default lineup of Scentiments since its introduction.

Strawberry 18958[4] 2012 Available A sweet and tangy artificial strawberry scent. The disc is bear head shaped and was originally transparent fire truck red,[5] but was later redesigned to be opaque. Strawberry was released as part of the first wave of Scentiments,[1] and has been part of the default lineup of Scentiments since its introduction.

Cotton Candy 18959[6] 2012 Available A bright sugary scent. The disc is bear head shaped and was originally a light, transparent baby blue,[5] but was later redesigned to be opaque cornflower blue. Cotton Candy was released as part of the first wave of Scentiments,[1] and has been part of the default lineup of Scentiments since its introduction.
Grape 18960[7] 2012 Retired Grape was released as part of the first wave of Scentiments,[1] and later retired.
Chocolate Chip Cookie 18961[8] 2012 Retired Chocolate Chip was released as part of the first wave of Scentiments,[1] and later retired.
Peppermint 19323[9] 2012 Retired Peppermint was most likely released alongside the Christmas bears in November 2012.
Mint Chocolate Chip 20034[10] 2013 Retired Mint Chocolate Chip was released alongside Girl Scouts Thin Mints Bear (2013). The disc is bear head shaped and an opaque light emerald green color.[11]

Unknown Frosted Icing 20784[12] 2013 Retired Frosted Icing was most likely released alongside the Christmas bears in October/November 2013. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in a shimmery warm white color with a subtle marbling effect.[13]
Unknown Chocolate Coconut 21290[14] 2014 Retired Chocolate Coconut was released alongside Girl Scouts Coconut Caramel Bear (2014) in January 2014. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in a rich caramel brown color.* Check if exclusive to US due to association with Girl Scouts
Pineapple 21349[15] 2014 Retired Pineapple released in early Spring 2014, possibly as part of the Easter drop. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in pastel yellow.[13]
Apple Blossom 21723[16] 2014 Retired Apple Blossom released in autumn 2014. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in a bright Barbie pink color.[17]
Gingerbread 22054[18] 2014 Retired Gingerbread likely released with the Christmas bears in November 2014. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in a rich brown color that resembles real gingerbread.[19][20][21]

Lavender 22691[22] 2015 Available A relatively variable scent that released in spring 2015. Though it rarely smells like real lavender, many fans enjoy the floral, soapy, or sweet elements it has.[23] The disc is an opaque bear head shape in Mardi Gras purple.[24]
Honey 22751[25] 2015 Retired Honey released in summer 2015, likely alongside the release of the first set of Honey Girls in July. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in "Winnie the Pooh" gold.[26] While some enjoy this scent, Honey is notorious for "going bad" over time; it is frequently described as smelling like feet, rotting honey, or even urine.[27][28][29][30]

Pumpkin 22818[31] 2015 Retired This scent released alongside the Halloween collection in September 2015. The disc is an opaque bear head shape in bright pumpkin orange.

Marshmallow 23496[39] 2016 Retired A sweet scent that smells just like a marshmallow tastes. Marshmallow was originally released alongside the Ghostbusters collection in June 2016, and later restocked in 2023 (US only).[40] The disc is an opaque bear head shape in a shimmery beige color.[41][42]
